Bluetooth App Privacy Information

Hentronix does not record any personal information from either our Android or iOS apps. All settings you send to your Hentronix Bluetooth-enabled device using your smartphone are kept only on your Bluetooth-enabled Hentronix device; they are not retained or recovered by Hentronix in any way – through the internet, or by any other means.

Hentronix may look at the number of users per device type in order to better tailor its products in the future; this is a default Developer analytic feature of both the App Store (Apple) and Google Play Store (Android).

Hentronix WiFi (Developed 2020/2021) App Privacy Information

When you use the app using bluetooth only, the above disclaimer is correct in its entirety. When WiFi is used, the only way to provide functions such as “Last Known Door Status” and “Last Known Battery Voltage” while your WiFi device is asleep is by storing it securely on the AWS. Hentronix, its developers, or any other part will never look at this data. It can therefore be expected by the user that when WiFi is enabled, this data (and this data only) is stored securely, and in an encrypted way on the AWS. Location data may be stored in a secure format on our AWS server to help increase the accuracy of temperature readouts on the app, but this data is not readable by Hentronix and is never shared.
