Our solar panels work really well in full sun - but what if your garden is a bit shady and you think the best place for a solar panel is quite far from the coop… Or what if you would like to add a couple more solar panels to your setup? Perhaps you want to put your solar panels on your shed roof? This is the page for you!

This Solar Boost Kit comprises a charge controller for your lithium battery and a booster (on the same control circuit board). It allows for connecting up to 3 solar panels at any one time, up to a combined total of 30W (you can use one of the slots for the solar panel that comes with your solar-powered Hentronix opener, should you wish). The charge controller box is designed to be kept near the solar panels, and you can specify different lengths of cable to go between the controller and your door opener.

1) Charge controller

2) Cable from your opener to charge controller (variable length - please see product description in drop-down menu).

3) 2 x 6w Solar panel (providing a whopping total of 15w Solar Panels when combined with your original Hentronix solar panel)
