Disclaimer, Guarantee Details and Returns Policy


Hentronix units are to help you keep your chickens safe, but we cannot accept responsibility for any loss of chickens. As with any automatic system, the ultimate responsibility for the welfare and safety of the chickens rests with the owner/keeper. That said, we have worked tirelessly, and continue to work tirelessly to provide the best openers and closers on the market.

Shipping: Whilst we advertise average shipping times, we unfortunately can't assume responsibility for the operational difficulties experienced by our couriers. The same stance applies to all orders shipped, regardless of destination country. 

If you believe your are ordering from a 'remote location', where excess postage fees can and are sometimes applied, Hentronix reserves the right to pass on remote location fees to the customer post-purchase. If you think you may looking for delivery to a remote location and would like to check with us, please contact us at info@hentronix.co.uk and we would be more than happy to advise! 

Import taxes/duties: Whilst some countries have import allowances which mean we can freely ship there to our customers (Australia, USA, Europe...), orders shipped to countries with lower allowances on imports, such as Canada, may be liable to additional import taxes/duties, the payment of which are the responsibility of the customer and, if incurred, may be passed on to the customer post-purchase.

Payments by PayPal: We accept payments by PayPal! Some payments processed through PayPal will have a fee levied on them by PayPal and we regret that we cannot absorb these fees or refund said fees.

Privacy Policy: Hentronix LTD does not handle financial payments directly and does therefore not see any customer payment/card information. Our website is secure, and card payments are processed through Stripe and/or PayPal and therefore not handled directly by us. We like to think this increases the security around our customers' payment details. 

Returns Policy: If you are not happy with your purchase, we will refund the purchase price of the product to you provided that all the materials are returned to us within 30 days of purchase and are shipped at customer's cost. We do require that you contact us at info@hentronix.co.uk before returning any items. 

Guarantee Details:

The Hentronix guarantee does not cover

  • Parts produced to the highest relevant standards that might wear out over time (e.g. fuses, batteries, etc.).

  • Accidental damage

  • Faults caused by:

    • Negligent use, misuse, neglect or careless operation of the device

    • Use of parts not assembled or installed in accordance Hentronix advice

The Guarantee Date is effective from the Date of Purchase, and the purchased unit’s guarantee is not extended beyond the initial guarantee period following repair.
