Our very own Hentronix Coop Lighting Unit, made for easy connection to your Hentronix Automatic Door! 

Please note: we have just rolled out a new design of this popular light (please see photo of the product) which has a lower power consumption and greater range of light (dim to bright). It also runs completely silently.

Tired of getting fewer eggs in the winter? This add-on provides extra light during the winter to compensate for fewer daylight hours to help ensure regular egg production is continued.

The use of LED means that this unit runs much cooler than conventional lighting units, meaning savings not only in power, but also means that it is much safer than conventional non-LED lighting units.

Your Hentronix unit will tell your Coop Lighting Unit to begin lighting your coop once the daylight drops below a certain number of hours. Before the Hentronix unit opens your coop in the morning, the light will then add the amount of light needed for continued egg production.

This gives the chickens extra light before the dawn and is the most natural way of lighting your hens 😊

Comes with 3m of cabling and appropriate fixings.

NB: If you’re looking to use the light for many hours in the morning (to prolong egg laying) we recommend powering your Hentronix unit using mains/socket electricity. This is because the power consumption is quite high with the light in the winter, when there is less light for the solar panel to charge the battery anyway.

The door Opener works perfectly and also the Coop light works how it should. We're really Happy to Have the stuff fromm hentronix because it makes our Lives with the hens pretty easy. Hentronx's customer service is pretty amazing too. I can really recommend everything about Hentronix gadgets. The only little criticism is the little expensive price and that the door Opener didn't fit with the glu...

Initially I wasn't sure what difference a light would make, but a year later, as winter approaches again, I'm glad that my hens will be laying more thanks to this addition to my coop. My whole family noticed a significant increase in eggs last winter compared to all the years before without the light. 10/10
